To Whom it may concern

I am sending you this letter to inform you of an inaproperent Dis-missel of my Daughter, Who was a manager at the Abbeville store in Louisiana, She has been a Manager for three years, and just recently transferred to Abbeville, due to it was closer to her house, she has been having problems with a few Aferican American because they wanted another Aferican American as a manager. I would like to inform you of the situation, the employees were not charging full price for hair cuts to other Aferican Americans, and My Daughter brought it to their attention and they said they are not going to charge full price to their "Quote" Black Customers, Because they can not afford it and white people can, Now as i see it what is good for one is good for another, and that sounds like Discrimination, Please contact me for further information.

Regards

I work for Smartstyles now. I have over 30 years experience as a stylist. I am astounded that I am being badgered out of the salon by my black manager and black regional manager. I am not prejudice so this is shocking to me. I also have witnessed another very good experienced white stylist also badgered out.

Corp doesn't seem to care. May start EEOC case.

I worked for this company for 6 years and was let go. Things are changing there, but not for the better they are releasing all their older, experienced stylists and replacing them with ones just out of beauty school and stylists that have no business doing hair... Very sad situation and bad company to work for.

i was also an employee of smart style, i worked for them since 1998, i started as a stylist, worked my way up to ladder to manager, and then to area supervisor. i was hurt on the job, requiring neck surgery, 2 days after surgery i was called and told that i no longer had a position with the company. when i started with them, it was much different than it is now. it was a good company that cared for its employees at one time. it has made me wonder about several things, sorry to say but the company is not what it used to be. i hear a lot of the things that are going on are due to the new regional manager. the sad thing is that they are losing valuable customers and stylist. just recently they had the entire staff in breaux bridge walk out of the salon because of the supervisor and the regional supervisor. i hope the company wises up before its to late.

She was let go because, like you, she does not have an education. You both should graduate the 6th grade. ***.
