| 1. Written by Danean on May 12, 2011 from hartwell, georgia, US I believe Regis is trying to create a line of black salons. The white stylists and customers are badgered and mistreated. I'm surprised there is not EEOC charges out there and BBB claimes. |

| 4. Written by Shannon Henson on October 18, 2009 from elyria, ohio, US I went to my Smart Styles (in Hobbs NM, the woman who cut my hair is named Carina) yesterday and entered the salon with about 5 inches of hair, I asked for a pixie cut and the woman used buzz clippers on my head and now all my hair is about 1half inch long or shorter in some spots. I am bald. I want my money back and I am trying to work with them but they dont give a crap. If you want to discuss this, or have had something like this happen as well, please contact me at www.myspace.com/shannon_henson I also have before and after pictures there. Its very sad. |

Written by hairstylist on September 17, 2009 from sikeston, missouri, US everyone has had a bad experience or two in all proffessions but that is no reason to write the entire proffession off. i am a hairstylist and i try to please all of my clients. some are just not pleasable. but u must also realize that smart styles expects their employees to work alone, style hair, sell products, be the cashier, answer the phones and clean a certain amount every shift, all for sometimes min. wage. im not saying thats an excuse to screw someones hair up b/c it is not. i have had a bad haircut and it sucks! im just saying everyone makes mistakes in all proffessions and smart styles employees r overworked and underpayed. also u should consider that everyone has a bad day and u never know what that person is going through at that moment |
