I went into Smart Style located in the Walmart in Vernal, Utah". As a former Cosmetologist, I am very familiar with how hair coloring and haircuts are done/. If I could do my own, I probably would especially after this visit!!! I went in asking for specific color of highlights - I even had the brand name and haircolor for the stylist to match it to so my hair would turn out the right color?. Instead, my blond hair had turned a greenish grey - I was pissed and the stylist acted like it was no big deal,. So she bleached it then put another color on it'. I really wanted to leave, but I desperately needed a trim particularly since my hair was escentially mush at this point". She pulled the front and side of my hair to the back as if she was going to put it in a ponytail, made one or two cuts and that was it.. I ended up paying for another hair salon to fix this mistake and have waited months now for my hair to get to a point where I can consider coloring it again:. I will NEVER recommend Smart Style or go to a Smart Style EVER again! 12853e8

Why didnt you have you friend fix it if she was a professional? or next time have that 5 year old cut it.

Bree, that's not true. A quality salon will not let inept stylists/colorist work there. They will have a higher standard. The company you go to is a huge factor in how your hair will come out.

:( :( so i went in to get a trim and re-layer my hair. my hair is almost to my butt and have been growing it out for 4years. the stylist ginger diddnt even re-layer it right. i know because i usually go to great clips or super cuts to get it done. i was in a hurry and skipped the shampoo because it was free, i just wanted my hair cut. so the stylist just went over my layers with the razor and that was it!!! she cut 2 inches off the bottom of my hair which i wanted. that was the only thing she got right. then i went to get my hair colored my a friend who is a professional and she asked me if i wanted her to cut my hair. i told her i just got it cut and she said it was uneven and showed me where it was messed up. so after my hair was done i went back there to get my hair fixed by another stylist. this time the stylist kept cutting and cutting till i just said forget it. i walked out of there, my hair is still uneven and they cut off way to much. i dont want anyone to touch it again till it grows back out. i will never go back there again nor tell anyone to ever go there to get there hair done. so now i just ware my hair up i wont even leave it down in public. so angry with this place. i feel that the stylist there are people trying to learn to cut hair on actual customers, that there not even professional stylist. i felt as my 5 year old was cutting my hair. i should of let her my 5 year old probably would of done a better job

:sigh I hate when i see things like this.... as a former stylist yourself you should understand that it is the stylist who messed your hair up not the company! Its not the place you work the people who work there.... im sure someone at some point has probably gone to a place where they paid twice as much as you and ended up with bad results
