It seems like every time we go there they cant cut your hair at that time. Granted we usually go at 4:30 pm after work but they don't close til 6. At our salon in Alexandria LA they give the perception that they don't like to cut caucasion hair. I'm not really pissed just aggravated! When I went there tonight the lady said she had a family emergency and had to close. I think another person there would help but I know it is hard in this area. I think if your open until 6 then be prepared to take people til 6. I just wanted a trim and would have tipped 5. Oh well. Thank you 12853a7

Just some little insight on company policies, that may come in handy for you in the future. Smart Style is a walk-in only salon. Yes, even us as stylists realize how frustrating this rule is. It's frustrating for us as well. Also, we are not allowed (at least not in Illinois) to take a hair cut after 30 minutes before we close, and color 2 hours before we close. As a stylist, I have seen many lazy stylists, you will get them anywhere. As a matter of fact, I had an experience with one before and it was at one of the most well known high end salons there is. I went in for red lowlights in my blonde hair, and the stylist complained of heart burn, somehow talked me into will&grace red, and then shoved me off on a stylist assistant. lol. So trust me, you will get bad experiences anywhere you go, not just a Smart Style. |
